A Few Rules That Apply Everywhere
A width of 1080 pixels covers almost every feed format on mobile. Vertical 9:16 at 1080 x 1920 is shared by Instagram Stories and Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and WhatsApp Status, so one export serves all of them. Profile pictures are square everywhere and are then masked into a circle on most platforms, so keep faces and logos centred and away from the corners. JPG and PNG are accepted universally.
